Underground Comedy Presents: Ben Gleib
Ben Gleib was just named by TBS one of the "Funniest Comedians Working Today." He is host of the Emmy nominated game show “Idiotest” in its 4th season on GSN, with 210 episodes. It’s the most watched original program on the network. His hilarious hour standup special “Ben Gleib: Neurotic Gangster" is available on Showtime. He's been headlining comedy clubs around the globe since 2007, and has toured sold-out arenas with Chelsea Handler and Dane Cook. Esquire once called him one of “Six comedians who could be comedy’s next big thing.” The other five were Aziz Ansari, Patton Oswalt, David Cross, Demetri Martin, and Flight of the Conchords. It came true for all of them and it now seems to be Gleib's time.
Every other week Underground Comedy will bring the best young comics from around the country to DC's Drafthouse Comedy Theater. Located at 1100 13th St NW, the entrance is on L Street Between 13th and 14th Street. It is styled after a black box arts theater and offers beer, wine, liquor, and some pre-packaged snacks in the lobby. There are no minimum purchase requirements for patrons and no table-side service.
This is a fully seated show. Seating is general admission. You must be 18 to enter.
