Underground Comedy Presents: Mark Normand
Mark Normand is a fun-loving, New York comedian. He has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, Inside Amy Schumer, @midnight, Last Comic Standing, and has two Comedy Central specials. In 2013, he won Caroline's March Madness competition, beating out 63 other comedians. Mark was also named Village Voice's "Best Comedian of 2013," Comedy Central’s Comics To Watch for the 2011 New York Comedy Festival, Esquire’s “Best New Comedians 2012,” Splitsider’s “Top 10 Up and Coming Comedians on Each Coast,” and Time Out New York’s “21 New York Comedy Scene Linchpins.”
Every other week Underground Comedy will bring the best young comics from around the country to DC's Drafthouse Comedy Theater. Located at 1100 13th St NW, the entrance is on L Street Between 13th and 14th Street. It is styled after a black box arts theater and offers beer, wine, liquor, and some pre-packaged snacks in the lobby. There are no minimum purchase requirements for patrons and no table-side service.
