Underground Comedy Presents: Shane Torres
Shane Torres is a stand-up comedian and writer. He has appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing and IFC’s Comedy Bang Bang. He performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival and was named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. He has performed at festivals all over the country including Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival, and many more. He is the creator of the podcast radio show Help Wanted and has contributed writing to Laughspin, The Portland Mercury, and Nailed Magazine.
Every other week Underground Comedy will bring the best young comics from around the country to DC's Drafthouse Comedy Theater. Located at 1100 13th St NW, the entrance is on L Street Between 13th and 14th Street. It is styled after a black box arts theater and offers beer, wine, liquor, and some pre-packaged snacks in the lobby. There are no minimum purchase requirements for patrons and no table-side service.
This is a fully seated show. Seating is general admission. You must be 18 to enter.
