Underground Comedy Presents: Ronny Chieng
Ronny Chieng is an international stand-up comedian and actor born in Malaysia, raised in Manchester, NH and Singapore. He is currently a correspondent on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah on Comedy Central. In less than 10 years of performing he has completed four sold out global stand-up comedy theater tours in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Canada and London. Ronny also co-wrote and starred in his own television comedy series "Ronny Chieng: International Student" which is currently airing on ABC in Australia, the BBC, Comedy Central Asia and will be airing on Comedy Central in the US in 2018.
Every other week Underground Comedy will bring the best young comics from around the country to DC's Drafthouse Comedy Theater. Located at 1100 13th St NW, the entrance is on L Street Between 13th and 14th Street. It is styled after a black box arts theater and offers beer, wine, liquor, and some pre-packaged snacks in the lobby. There are no minimum purchase requirements for patrons and no table-side service.
